Hey there kids it's your favorite landlord and bartender Lorne here to let you know we'll be holding our annual Thanksgiving Feast this year on the 18th in the main ballroom! For those of you who don't know Thanksgiving is a holiday we celebrate here to give thanks for all that we have in life and reflect on how lucky we are compared to how miserable we could be. It's a time for family and friends and lots of great food!

Speaking of friends I'd like you all to give a warm welcome to a couple of people from my world, Illyria and her minion Knox who was human but is now a Picodevimon. Feel free to make a post of your own Illyria honey I'm sure your neighbors would love to meet you.

Alright long story short? Illyria is an ancient god that is living in the shell of a human body. Knox released her effectively murdering the poor girl who now serves as Illyria's vessel. Illyria is most definitely on our side but do NOT make her mad at you. She may not be as strong as she was back home but considering most of you are about as durable as china plate thrown across a room I'd advise not testing to see how strong she still is.

As for her partner I don't want anyone to kill him...however if you can find subtle ways to make him miserable I would be happy to return the favor somehow. Just make sure it's not obvious or Illyria might retaliate.

I've already informed Sarasim of her abilities that I've seen. She's on our security team for now so just warning you now. I'm sorry if this is a problem for you all. Trust me I'm not particularly pleased as punch either but...well this is how it is.

We're looking for organized, competent individuals preferably skilled in combat (But we are willing to train you) Who are interested in acting as Security for the Hyperion Hotel and it's properties.

No remember kids, keep your pranking clean today, trash the hotel and you're cleaning it up tomorrow no matter how hard I laugh.

Well well kids it's that time of year again! The holiday season is upon us and I'm just excited as can be!

I'm enlisting you all to help decorate the hotel this year, I'm going to need teams to string up lights, change the table cloths, hang things, and this year we have a special event for a local charity called the festival of trees that yours truly set up.

What we're going to do is get a whole bunch of Christmas trees and decorate them in unique and peculiar ways, and then auction them off! The money we get will go to a local orphanage and homeless shelter. And that homeless shelter is known as the Hyperion *Sigh*

We've had some stress early this year so let's shake it off with some holiday spirit! After all we've been blessed to come together under this roof, to love each other enough to get mad and frustrated with one another. As a community we owe it to one another to try our best to put on a happy face and find that inner child who's still enchanted by the twinkling lights of a christmas tree.

[In addition to the bar the entire hotel has been made to look rather haunted, the damage from the attacks earlier this month help to give it an eerie quality]

I want to apologize again for the attack that took place last night, we had no way of knowing...

I want to personally thank the security team for evacuating everyone in a safe and orderly manner, big props kids, expect a bigger bonus for Christmas.

*Goblimon coughs*

Right...speaking of money. Those of you who lost things in the attack, I've got a stack of insurance forms sitting outside my office in a box. Take one and list all the personal possessions you lost to the attack and we'll see if our friendly insurance gekkomon can give us some help.

As for the building damage, I'm going to have to declare the east entrance, that is the main entrance, the front half of the Lobby and all the rooms on the East side of the building condemned until we can repair them. I'm sorry but those of you who were living there if you could just move to a different apartment until we get things fixed and safe again. If we work together the moving process should be relatively painless.

To make up for the losses and trouble I'll be suspending the rent on all the residents who are forced to move till December. That's some extra cash for Christmas shopping heh heh...

What happened to our home was unprovoked, unpredictable and terrible, but I promise you we are...and always will be doing everything in our power to keep you safe. We are shaken but we will not fall.
